Beijing Zhonghua Automobile is a sub-brand of sedans under the Brilliance Auto Group, belonging to the mainland Chinese company, Brilliance Group. Zhonghua Automobile meets the domestic demand for mid-to-high-end sedans in terms of safety performance, power performance, and driving comfort, offering a high cost-performance ratio and competitive advantage in the market. In March 2003, Zhonghua sedan launched the new Jing series, including the luxurious Zhonghua 2.4L and the luxurious Zhonghua 2.0L, marking an important step in the strategic series development of the same model of Zhonghua sedan. In addition, the cooperation between Brilliance Auto Group and BMW Group is of milestone significance to the development of China's automotive industry. The joint venture contract of Brilliance BMW was signed on March 27, 2003, in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Through cooperation with BMW, the Zhonghua model also achieved co-line production with BMW sedans in aspects such as painting line and general assembly line inspection, quality system inspection, fully adopting the quality control standards and systems in BMW's production process, which significantly enhanced the quality of Zhonghua sedans.
