Huasong is a Chinese automobile brand, established in 2014 and affiliated with Brilliance Auto Group, mainly producing light vehicles. The first MPV model of the Huasong brand is the Huasong 7, which was officially unveiled on November 7, 2014. The Huasong 7 is a mid-to-large size MPV with dimensions of 5104mm in length, 1909mm in width, and 1935mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3015mm. The Huasong 7 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, code-named N20B20C, which is an engine from BMW with a maximum power output of 178kW and a peak torque of 315 Newton meters. This engine is equipped with Double Vanos technology and Valvetronic technology, and it uses an aluminum alloy cylinder head and block, enhancing the car's handling and fuel efficiency. The Huasong 7 also features a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT), with double wishbone independent suspension in the front and a leading arm independent suspension with torsion bar in the rear.
The Huasong brand is positioned in the mid-to-high-end MPV market and officially released its first model, the Huasong 7, on March 27, 2015. The brand has a cooperative relationship with BMW and has received BMW's support in the engine technology of the Huasong 7. Headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning, the Huasong brand is the third brand launched by Brilliance Auto after Jinbei and Zhonghua. The Huasong brand also plans to introduce other products in the future to meet market demands.
