Jiangnan Automobile is a Chinese automotive brand, affiliated with Jiangnan Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd., and was established in 1980. As one of the earlier mini-vehicle production enterprises in China and a key passenger car production enterprise in Hunan Province, Jiangnan Automobile adheres to the manufacturing characteristics of military enterprises that prioritize product quality. In September 2008, Jiangnan Automobile launched the Jiangnan Alto "Classic" model, and on February 26, 2023, it introduced a new pure electric product - the Jiangnan U2. Jiangnan Automobile has a strong R&D capability, gathering hundreds of domestic and international technical experts and elites, with more than 65% of the company's employees having been sent to Japan for training and research. The company adopts a strict quality control system, has passed the ISO9001:2000 quality system and the "3C" certification by the national quality authority, and has extended it to cooperation with suppliers.
