Shenlong Junma is the predecessor brand of Shanghai Shenlong Bus Co., Ltd., which was established in 1985 and initially registered the "Junma" trademark. The Shenlong Bus brand is recognized in the industry for its "stylish appearance, excellent service, and cost-effective ratio." Its products have served China's important political meetings for many years, such as the "Two Sessions," and have provided services for international large-scale events such as the Guangzhou Asian Games and the Shanghai World Expo. Shenlong Bus has also successfully been selected into the designated support service vehicle list for the Winter Olympics, providing transportation services for Winter Olympic staff.
In 2005, Shanghai Tourism Bus Factory was renamed to Shanghai Shenlong Bus Co., Ltd. The car logo consists of a circle and a coiled dragon, symbolizing Shenlong Bus's ambition to manufacture Chinese buses that soar in the world. Shenlong Bus's product line includes new energy vehicle models, such as the Shenlong DST Shenzhou 5, which is a new energy vehicle launched in 2021, characterized by low maintenance costs and a long overall warranty period.
The predecessor of Shenlong Bus, the "Junma" brand, once produced a variety of bus models, such as SLK6702H13, SLK6115UF63, etc. These models have different passenger capacities and body sizes to meet the needs of different users. Junma buses were also once used by tourism companies, such as the SLK6872F2G3, which served for a full ten years. With the passage of time, Shenlong Bus has become one of the well-known brands in China's bus industry.
