YuLu Automobile is a new energy vehicle brand under Dongfeng Yulon, founded in 2015. The brand's development vision is "Committed to a Better Life," reflecting the strategic direction of Dongfeng Yulon in pursuing environmentally friendly development. Dongfeng Yulon is a brand jointly established by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Taiwan Yulon Group, with a total investment of 490 million US dollars. The production base is located in the Linjiang Industrial Park, Xiaoshan, Hangzhou. YuLu Automobile has a cooperation with Guangdong Mongoose New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Although the two do not have a stakeholding relationship, they collaborate in product research and development, production, sales, and market operations. The main products of YuLu Automobile are pure electric models. Its YuLu EV2 mini-car platform uses a monocoque body structure, characterized by compact structure and low cost. The chassis features a MacPherson independent suspension and a torsion beam non-independent suspension to meet the needs of small cars. The YuLu Automobile brand has a production base in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, with an annual production capacity of 240,000 vehicles. Although YuLu Automobile planned to lay out a number of sales and service outlets in 2017, there has been less news about new car and network layout since then, and the brand's development plan and market performance still need further observation.
